Nothing says Merry Christmas like...

A shoe box diorama! I like to make these every holiday, well most. They make me happy. I put it up next to the wedding invitations that don't make me particularly happy and beside the kitchen table which makes me very happy.

Interesting Facts:

1- I'm unlucky. I was hit by a boulder, broke my shoulder on friday the 13th, broke my foot while feeding my dog... maybe im just clumzy. Whos to say.
2- I love love love books. The way they smell, reading them, bookstores, the way they look on book shelves... im not ashamed.
3- I can't contain myself when i see pretty desserts, and i think all desserts are pretty. cupcakes and cookies, pies. but especially really fancy things, i want to be a pastry chef so so bad!
4- I blush very easily. Its really embarassing,especially when im not really embarrased... my face gets really hot so i know im doing it, and it makes me blush even more.
5- More than anything i hate getting embarrased when i'm all alone. When I laugh out loud about it and no one else is there, I HATE it.
6- Sometimes when i write in my journal im really dramatic, which is weird because im not a very emotional or dramatic person. I actually read through my journal and underline the most ridiculous things.
7- I don't cry. well, i do but so infrequently that when i do my eyes get teal, and they are sore for days.

i woke up this smorning and look at what i saw! i actually threw myself back on my bed in the pit of despair... i warmed up to the idea of snow a little throughout the day. its sort of pretty, now if only it didnt mean it had to be cold!

Who says the drive from utah to vegas isnt beautiful? I made cami take pictures out the window of the sunset. we are really grannybirds posterity...

Cami and I were salt and pepper for halloween, but we didnt have giant s's or p's on our stomaches. so some people didnt get it. It was funny to ask people what they thought we were... most people just looked at us until we told them. by far the best guess was "cafe rio food?"

fall, my first one!

The leaves are so amazing. I just wish it wasnt so cold. I was driving home from school the other day and i took my jackets off and rolled down the windows, it was so hot. I looked at the temperature and it was 68 degree's... utah has warped my mind!!

Who knew there was an Indian temple right in the middle of Spanish Fork Utah? I went to India fest this weekend with cami Roxy Bryn and our friend Casey. We had some indian food, there was Indian dancing and I got a jewel for my forehead. I think im in love with India... all of it. Though it didnt quite match the indian clubs dances at byuh the jewels were a huge plus.

I made the cutest most delicious cupcakes last night. I put andys mint chips in the cake batter and then i made homemade fudge frosting (thanks for the recipie mom) SO GOOD.

Rilo Kiley!

I got so see my most favorite band in the whole world this monday! It was sad because I went without ashley and erin, katie can attest to the fact that we listened to nothing else for an entire semester. Also i snuck back stage to try and meet them and was unsuccessful we did meet some members of matt costa's band (very drunk and quite funny). also we watched modest mouse from back stage for a while.
Those of you that dont listen to Rilo Kiley may recognize Jenny Lewis, the front woman, from the movie troop Beverly Hills. Really good music. many of their songs are really mello and there are quite a few that dont cuss at all... seriously TURN ON RILO KILEY.
