bookshelf make-over

So I have been blog browsing lately, probably because it's midterms, and I stumbled upon some tips to make my bookshelf more ascetically pleasing. Don't leave a lot of space above the things on each shelf, stack some things as opposed to lining everything up, and stuff like that.
Anyways... i tried to apply them.
I didn't add more stuff, i just used what was there... what do you think?

The Easy Jane Saloon

It was my roomate janes birthday and so we had a saloon theme birthday party. Really fun. We had a piano (with player piano music), saloon doors, beer (the root kind), card- playin, and shooting too!

I always have my molskin, a book, and candy in there. The movie ticket is from the movie FOOL'S GOLD... bad movie, dont see it.
Also the cute yellow bag is a camera bag that Jill made for me. There is no camera in it because i'm taking a picture, duh.
