swine flu

I hate the swine flu

It's 100% blown out of proportion...
did you know that more people have died of the real flu this year than of swine flu?
not hard... only ONE person has died of swine flu compared to the 13,000 that died of the real flu...

Also, two people are killed every year by VENDING MACHINES!!

vending machines, 200% more deadly than the swine flu.

I'm just a little upset... I had a great trip to Havasupi planned and it was completely ruined. this picture only sort of makes up for it...

I agree with you Karly, but I don't think you made a very good argument. More than 1 person has died worldwide from Swine flu and I doubt that vending machines kill many more people worldwide than two because they aren't common in poor countries. Also vending machines kill their two people over the course of 12 months while the swine flu has been raging for a much less time. Although I agree that it has been blown out of proportion I disagree that a vending machine is 200% more deadly. Since the flu has the potential to kill like crazy because the virus is rapidly mutating it was potentially very deadly and I think you should be more respectful to those that have taken their time and energy into making sure you are protected.

you are totally right. when I went to guatamla, the guy in charge of our groups would talk about it every morning in our meeting... he would use the word "pandemic" as much as he could to be more dramatic. when eric and i saw someone wearing a mask, we would stand close to them and cough and sneeze. it was pretty funny
